Mobil Tua Tahun 1970 -1980 an Yang kuat di Tanjakan ?


Bisa analogi dg gir motor di atas.
Kali ini saya membahas tentang kemampuan mobil Klasik di tanjakan. Begini, suatu saat anda merencanakan pulkam, tentu kendaraan berjubel. Kalau kondisi di jalan mendatar mungkin tidak terlalu tegang, tapi kalau posisi anda sedang macet dan di tanjakan seperti Emen atau Gentong di Tasikmalaya, ketika mobil harus stop and go akan menjadi masalah. Mobil tidak bisa mengikuti irama jalan merayap 3 km per jam. Kemampuan merayap 3 km perjam ini dimiliki oleh kendaraan besar sperti truk dan mobil off road, dimana gear ratio gigi 1 bisa sampai 15.0 atau lebih. Di jalan tanjakan dan dimana mobil harus bisa berjalan sangat pelan-merayap , maka jawabannya adalah pada gear ratio mobil anda. Semakin besar gear ratio pada gigi 1, semakin tenang anda berjalan dengan mobil kesayangan anda dalam medan seperti apapun...seperti kata promosi Jimny Katana : "the conqueror of all terrain".Jadi, isunya adalah mobil apa yang klasik , harga terjangkau dan kuat di tanjakan?

Contoh , mobil Jimny 4x2 saya ubah gear standar yg lama rasio nya 4.11 (Final Gear) di ganti mejadi rasio 5.11 di kali rasio gir 1 = 3.160 (data automobile catalog) . standar Jimny = 4.11 x 3.160 = 12.9876 (kurang dari 15...payah di tanjakan) Modif gardan belakang Jimny = 5.11 x 3.160 = 16.1476 dapet rasio 16....sudah pas buat jalan ke gunung. https://youtu.be/yNz_mDoy7mk OK...sekarang lihat rasio sang raja offroad..Land rover series III...
